MOON is a non-profit dedicated to increasing access to underground music in the greater Salem, MA area!

Founded in February of 2025 as part of the City of Salem’s Artist Row program, Moon Base One is the only all ages sober venue in the greater Boston area. We host live music every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the occasional weekday in the heart of downtown Salem on Artist Row. Located at 24 New Derby Street Unit 1 Salem, MA you can always find live music of all kinds, that is fun, affordable, and a space filled with community. Scroll Down to see our upcoming shows!

MOON OVER SALEM

Is our yearly festival which brings over 500 people to downtown Salem, MA. Our festival had a variety of accolades that we are very proud of:

  • 64% of artists identified as women or non-binary

  • 52% of artists were from the greater Northshore area

  • $3,000 raised for our Rising Artists Scholarship
